An early form of the drop leaf tables, the name, butterfly table, is derived from the wing shaped brackets that hold the table’s leaves. Original butterfly tables are extremely rare, which makes all known examples very valuable.

The table has a 24” diameter top when open. Gracefully turned splayed legs are joined by stretchers for solid support. These tables must have splayed legs since the butterfly will not work properly with straight legs. Available in Cherry, Curly Maple and Walnut. Dimensions 21”H and 9.75”W with the leaves down.
