Known in the 1700’s as a Tripod Tip-and-Turn Table (the term “Pie Crust” was
not used until the 19th century), this table’s birdcage mechanism – a wonder of
engineering – allows the table top to revolve or to tip straight up. This not
only saves space but enables people to admire the intricately carved top. Be
sure to notice the lovely shell-and-leaf carving on the knees. Available in
Cherry and Walnut. Dimensions 19.75”, 28.5”H.
