Many fine examples of highboys originated in New England
during the 18th Century. Our High Chest of Drawers is a magnificent
example of an early Queen Anne piece made in New Hampshire about 1750.
In keeping with the guidelines of excellent furniture design, our Highboy
incorporates all the elements necessary to be rated as a masterpiece. The
high arch of the apron and the gracefully curved cabriole legs add lift to the
case and accentuate the vertical proportions so highly regarded by master
cabinetmakers in the colonies. This handsome Highboy provides generous
storage space and the flat-top design allows it to fit in any home.
Our Highboy is available in Mahogany, Cherry or Curly Maple. Measures
74"H x 40.5"W x 22.5"D. NOTE: Any kit we offer that is $1000 or more will require a 30% deposit at the time of scheduling. This deposit is fully refundable until we begin cutting the kit. At the time we begin cutting the kit we will require an additional 30% deposit. At this time both deposits are non-refundable.
