Bartley's reproduction is copied from a Berks' County, Pennsylvania original, circa 1765.  Our chest has excellent form with bracket feet, a center pendant under the shaped base molding, two drawers capped by a waist molding, and a top which overhands the front and sides with a generous molded edge.  These dower chests were usually made by the father of a soon-to-be bride and were truly a labor of love.  Available in Curly Maple, Cherry and Walnut.  Dimensions are 24.5"H x 20.5"D x 46"W.
