Over the years many of our customers have pleaded with us to offer a huntboard larger than our Plantation Huntboard. Well, here it is! Big enough to serve a buffet for large numbers of guests or perfect for laying out a family brunch. The space behind the two outside doors is tall enough for wine and spirits bottles and the two center drawers have ample space for silver and linens.
Fine examples of southern huntboards are rare, probably because many were destroyed during the civil war and reconstruction. When an occasional one is offered at sale and auction, they demand extraordinary prices. Our huntboard, circa 1820, has elegantly tapered Hepplewhite legs, book-matched veneered drawer and door fronts with delicately applied cock molding around the edges. Solid hepplewhite style brasses add the final touch to this very beautiful and practical piece. Available in Cherry and Walnut. Dimensions 62.5"W x 20.5"D x 41"H. NOTE: Any kit we offer that is $1000 or more will require a 30% deposit at the time of scheduling. This deposit is fully refundable until we begin cutting the kit. (If a kit has already been scheduled we will require the 30% deposit at the time of order. What this means is that if we do not have a tentative ship date we will not charge the deposit.) At the time we begin cutting the kit we will require an additional 30% deposit. At this time both deposits are non-refundable. You will not be charged for the balance of payment until your kit is ready to ship.
